Hi, I’m Ali – a self-taught painter with an intuitive and expressive approach, creating art that spans a vibrant range of styles—from intricate, maximalist pieces to simpler, hue-rich creations.
My work is a colorful celebration of nature and the cosmos, sparking a sense of dreamy adventure that captures both the vastness of the universe and the peaceful quiet within.
From the moment I picked up a pencil as a little girl, I was drawn to creativity. Art was my playground, my way of exploring, and the first thing that made me feel good—truly good—about myself. It’s the feeling of creating something that makes my soul smile that still drives me today.
Over the years, art remained my constant companion, but the path wasn’t always linear. In 2010, while studying for my BFA in college, I launched a photography business, which I thought would be a temporary side hustle while pursuing my dream of a fine arts career. But to my surprise, I fell in love with entrepreneurship. Yet, as time went on, the passion and joy I once had began to fade. I was burnt out, creatively drained, and disconnected from the very thing that had once inspired me.
In 2021, I made the decision to slow down and reconnect with my art. I picked up a paintbrush and immediately felt like I was coming home to myself. The colors, the textures, the freedom—each brushstroke was a breath of fresh air.
My hope is that through my art and the community I’m building, I can inspire you to feel empowered, joyful, and connected to the creative spirit that resides within us all.
